Rosie Bell and Jamie Bristow are life and work partners dedicated to the theory and practice of inner transformation and exploring how this can better serve the transformation of society and human systems in the 21st Century. They live together in Sheffield, UK.

Rosie
Rosie Bell is a writer working primarily in public climate narrative and the inner dimension of sustainability, with collaborators such as the Climate Majority Project, Life Itself Institute, and the Mindfulness Initiative. She brings an academic background in philosophy and political communication to a decade of work with NGOs, policy initiatives and social change leaders.
Jamie
Jamie Bristow is a writer and policy expert on the application of inner development and contemplative practices in public life. He is a senior fellow and member of Life Itself, an honorary associate of Bangor University and a fellow of Mind & Life. Jamie leads on public narrative and policy development for the Inner Development Goals, emphasising the inner skills and qualities needed for a sustainable transition. For eight years, from 2015 to 2023, He played an instrumental role in the UK's All-Party Parliamentary Group on Mindfulness, acting as its clerk and serving as Director of the associated policy institute, The Mindfulness Initiative. During this time he worked with legislators around the world to make mindfulness and compassion training serious matters of public policy and catalysts for a healthier political process. Jamie's earlier roles included being the Business Development Director at Headspace, and his rich background encompasses psychology, climate change campaigning, and advertising.
Jamie is a dedicated practitioner of Insight Meditation, a Buddhist tradition that’s associated with Gaia House, IMS and Spirit Rock retreat centres. Although incomplete and on hold in order to focus on other projects, he has received teacher-training over a number of years. His teachers have included Stephan Batchelor, Rob Burbea and Catherine Magee.
