The System Within: Addressing the inner dimensions of sustainability and systems transformation was co-authored with leading thinkers Christine Wamsler, Tomas Björkman, Phoebe Tickell, Julia Kim and Otto Scharmer as a complement to Earth for All: A Survival Guide for Humanity, a report to the Club of Rome.
Commissioned as a 'deep dive' for the Earth4All project (a partnership between the Club of Rome, Stockholm Resilience Centre, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, and Norwegian Business School), our intention was to provide systems thinkers who primarily consider the external, structural dimension of global crises with a relatively short ‘101’ of the inner, psycho-social-spiritual dimension that is too often overlooked.
